Recorded from the live build. Cultural marketing moves a brand through cultural relevance, not mass targeting. A template was never going to do it. The site had to look like it belonged to people who read taste for a living.

Why this one is here

Not for the brand work. It is here because I took it from Figma into a live Next.js build with Claude Code and deployed it on Vercel. On my own, with no handoff document and no spec in between.

That changes what gets decided and when. A build throws up questions the design never answered: how a reveal behaves at the top of the viewport, what a section does while its video loads. Normally those become tickets, answered days later by someone who was not in the design. Here I answered them on the spot, having made the original call. Faster, and the reasoning stays attached to the decision.

One place where design and build stopped being separate jobs. The timing of this sequence was settled in code, because it was never going to be legible from a static frame.
